Why Wastewater
A population-level signal that clinical surveillance cannot reach.
Wastewater pools microbial signal from entire communities — sometimes from millions of people in a single catchment. Sampled at the right point in the network, it captures both the resistance genes circulating in the population and the temporal trends those genes are following.
It reaches populations clinical surveillance cannot: asymptomatic carriers, untreated infections, and the long pre-clinical signal that precedes diagnosed disease.

Our Approach
One method — the full picture.
We use metagenomics rather than targeted panels — capturing the full resistance signal in a sample, including what a fixed panel would miss.
We validate the platform against published clinical AMR data before making any field claim. Methods will be shared through peer-reviewed publication.
